Raymond Kerr

Raymond Kerr is the Chief Commercial Officer and Co-Founder of Qube GB Limited. Qube has its origins and HQ in the Scottish Borders. It operates on a national basis and specialises in providing Engineering expertise to blue chip residential telecoms providers within the UK.

Raymond along with his business partner Darren Bunker created Qube in 2007 after realising that a niche existed to supply highly skilled, mobile, engineers which are customer orientated and dedicated to a "can do" ethos.

Qube started with 3 employees, by 2009 the company had grown to 170 and in October 2012 a labour force of 500 exists. Qube won the Scottish Borders Award for Business Growth in 2010 and already has established itself as a serious player within the Telecoms Market. Qube is the only company which is contractually bound to YouView (a JV between BBC, ITV, C4, C5, Talk Talk and BT) which is publicly headed by Lord Sugar.

Raymond originally worked in the manufacturing sector as Technical Director for a printed circuit board manufacturer. Raymond has crossed over into the service sector to create a business which has designed a bespoke, realtime reporting system which manages task management, warehousing, health and safety, fleet and HR functions, thus allowing Qube to operate nationally and intentionally if required.

Raymond's main role is commercial and strategic and works to ensure the continued sustainable growth for the business from its current £20m pa to a figure three times the size.
