Description

This is a joint event with ACCA and The Institute of Directors.

The decision Scotland makes on 18th September in the Independence referendum will be critical for business. Issues such as currency, regulation, and international trade have featured heavily in the debate so far. Irrespective of the outcome Scottish business leaders need to drive their organisations and the wider economy forward.

Will Scottish Independence help us to create better leaders for business? This event will give you the opportunity to put your questions directly to leading figures on both sides of the argument and to listen to the debate that will shape our future.

We are delighted that Allan Hogarth, Director, AH Strategies, will chair the event and be joined by Professor Brad MacKay, Director of Engagement, University of Edinburgh on a panel for Q&A after their presentations. Brad is the author of a recent ESRC funded report into 'The Scottish Independence Debate: Evidence from Business'
