University homeInternship
An integral key feature of the Business in the Arts programme is the opportunity to gain experience in the world’s largest festival through internships within international entertainment and production companies, stage management, public relations, marketing and venue management companies.
The nature of the internship will vary depending on the individual organisation but tasks may include: reading, analysing and improving scripts; reporting on productions and writing reviews; observing rehearsals and scouting for shows to bring to other festivals; participating in educational programmes and networking events; working with the press to market shows; and participating in stage-crew and event-monitoring.
Once accepted we will work with participants to identify the best match of internship host, the basis of this will be the Internship Statement.
The outcome of the process is to help provide participants with an individually tailored experience in Scotland, one which will set you apart from the competition in your future studies and work.
The Internship will also be credited by the University of Edinburgh and will give 10 credits.
