Our approach is to work with individual clients, building customised solutions that vary in length, from short, single-day projects in the client’s offices to residential degree programmes delivered both in Scotland and across the globe.
This approach is underpinned by our desire to form long term relationships with our clients. Not only does this allow us to understand their ever-changing business strategy, it also enables us to maximise the opportunities for clients to benefit from the activities of the School.
These opportunities include: student projects and internships; shared research agendas and collaborations on research projects; student recruitment; and participating in the extensive range of School events and networks.
Core themes
Our programmes are built around two distinct themes: knowledge development and management development. Knowledge development translates the ideas and insights of our faculty into meaningful, practical initiatives that clients can harness for real competitive advantage. This typically involves development workshops or seminars designed to either equip participants with new skills and knowledge or to create a forum in which current business practices are debated in light of the latest developments.
Management development utilises our proven expertise in developing an individual’s key skill sets so that they can maximise both their own performance and that of their organisation. It builds upon our highly regarded and comprehensive development programme, initially developed on the Edinburgh MBA.
