University of Edinburgh Business School
University homeStudent profile
MBA students will learn as much from each other as from our teaching faculty. So what does the typical Edinburgh MBA student profile look like?
Solomon Okopi, Full-Time MBAThe best part of the MBA is the cultural interaction. It's so wonderful when you sit and share ideas and business skills.
Fundamentally, our MBA students are characterised by a high level of work experience from a diverse range of industries. Each class brings different ideas, life experiences and cultural imperatives to the programme, ensuring that your time here will be dynamic, fascinating and insightful.
To ensure that each programme maintains an internationally balanced cohort of students, the School aims to limit the proportion of students from any one country. In some cases this may result in applicants who meet the minimum requirements being unsuccessful in their application to study on a programme. However, the Business School regards maintaining a diverse student cohort to be of the greatest importance in enhancing the international student experience, and will continue to work to achieve that balance in accordance with its admissions policy.
