An MBA is one of the best ways to secure your future in this highly competitive environment. Many organisations see an MBA as providing their employees - or future employees - with the necessary skills and attributes to progress to senior positions.

Careers, Leadership and Personal Development
The MBA is ultimately a career tool and the whole programme is geared towards supporting students in their professional development. Many students will be using the MBA to facilitate career progression or a change of direction.
The My Career programme focuses on building students' skills and networks and creating opportunities to develop their own career. This is supported by:
- Individual tailored advice and guidance from our Careers Manager
- Workshops
- A guest speaker series
- Careers fairs
- C comprehensive online careers site for both current students and MBA alumni
- Participation in a company consulting project, giving you exposure to different industries and potential employers
- ublication of an annual MBA profiles yearbook, which is circulated widely among MBA recruiters as well as being available online
- Networking opportunities with corporate contacts and alumni
In tandem, the LPD programme provides each student with the opportunity to reflect on and refine their own personal leadership style in order to advance their career. A combination of seminars, workshops and diagnostics delivered both by in-house specialists and external consultants enable students to gain invaluable personal insights and perspectives.
“I have learned more about myself this year than anything else. The career and personal development programme gave me the tools to reflect, the ideas to implement change and the skills to succeed.”
