The explosion of carbon finance and investment has created a range of new types of business and new professional careers within both new and existing businesses. This has led to the emergence of many new types of career opportunities.
Graduates from the MSc in Carbon Finance will typically pursue a career in carbon trading, carbon consulting, SRI investment or asset management, carbon entrepreneurship, climate change policy, or carbon accounting. The programme can also be good preparation for further research at PhD level.

The MSc in Carbon Finance programme has a number of exciting partnerships with industry consultants and programmes. These partners work together with the programme on guest speakers, dissertation topics, carbon consulting projects or internships. Partners may offer potential career opportunities for Carbon Finance graduates. Current partners include Pacific Carbon Trust, Matrix Group Limited, The London Accord and Carbon Finance.
