Working as Trade Marketing Manager for L’Oreal Argentina, I have had to implement projects involving the marketing, scientific and commercial departments, successfully meeting deadlines and establish priorities.
However, I felt I needed to have a clearer understanding of global economic issues, as well as financial, organisational and managerial instruments.
I wanted to have a broad outlook on international business, be able to analyse regional economic situations, be able to assess the risk incurred by a company and to combine all those skills in order to hedge risk effectively, set objectives and devise global strategies for a company, brand or product. I feel that the MSc in International Business in Emerging Markets fits exactly into my career vision.
The class is very diverse, composed of 75 students from 36 different nationalities. This creates a multicultural environment, providing unique perspectives that enrich the class debates. All this widens my horizons, within the context of the excellent academic standards of the University of Edinburgh.
Edinburgh is a secure, cosmopolitan city with a large, fun and diverse student population. It has a great night life with a wonderful landscape and opportunities for outdoor sports and travel.
