To assist students fund their studies, the Business School has a dedicated MSc scholarships scheme for students beginning their studies with us in September 2012. The scholarships are open to offer holders on all our MSc programmes.

The Business School is committed to a diverse, international student body. We have identified a number of countries from which we would welcome additional applications. If you live in India, Norway, Turkey, Russia, Canada and Thailand the INTERACT Scholarship is available to you.

Business School Commonwealth Scholarship

Offer holders from the Commonwealth countries are invited to apply for this scholarship.

United Kingdom Military Scholarship

A scholarship for former members of the United Kingdom Armed Forces.

All applicants must include the following:

• A scan of the photograph page of your passport
• Proof of military service
• Letter from commanding officer
• 1,000 word essay

United Kingdom Student Scholarship

A scholarship designed for UK citizens who have completed their degree in the United Kingdom in the last three years.

All applicants must include the following:

• A scan of the photograph page of your passport
• Copy of degree certificate
• 1,000 word essay

All applicants are required to respond to the following question:

Describe your determination to complete your MSc programme and the positive contribution you believe the programme will make to your career and the global business society.

(maximum 1000 words)

Scholarship applications will only be considered for Business School applicants with a conditional or unconditional offer.

You can apply for multiple scholarships if you meet the individual criteria.

Award winners who have not yet paid their deposit will be required to confirm attendance on their programme of choice within one week of scholarship notification.

To submit your scholarship application, please include your name (first and last), your programme and your UNN on each page of your application. Please send all applications to msc@business-school.ed.ac.uk, with Scholarship Application in the subject line of the email.

British Chevening Scholarships
The Chevening Scholarship Scheme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), targets the future generation of leaders, decision-makers and opinion-formers early in their careers. Globally, approximately 1,000 new scholarships are awarded each year.
