My primary research investigates the impact of professional investor psychology on investment decision-making. I focus on fund managers and, in particular, the interaction between their states of mind and the financial performance of their investment vehicles.
More broadly, I seek to understand how professional investors make sense of, and cope with, their highly uncertain, complicated and stressful working environment, and how, in such settings, they communicate their investment performance to a wide range of stakeholders.

My thesis focuses on strategic and stakeholder management in the new Ghanaian oil and gas industry. The aim is to explore how stakeholders in an early industry influence each other and how multinational enterprises strategically respond to corresponding institutional pressures within an early industry and developing country context.
