Description

The first annual Sustainable Business mini-conference provides a forum for leading edge research on corporate sustainability and responsibility. Participants and presenters will:
* Advance the scholarly study of sustainable and responsible business,
* Engage with current managerial practice, and
* Connect to the growing network of sustainability academics.

2013 THEME:
Motivations, Implementation, and Outcomes of Sustainability and Responsibility in Business

While all papers in the area of sustainable and responsible business will be considered for the conference, preference will be given to those directly addressing issues of “Motivations, Implementation, and Outcomes.” ‘Motivations’ covers a wide remit with multiple levels of analysis from the individual to systems-based factors, and all levels in between. ‘Implementation’ focusses on practice based research, exploring the conduits, activities, and obstacles to implementation among other factors. ‘Outcomes’ targets research which addresses all outcomes of sustainable and responsible business: financial and other outcomes for the business as well as other stakeholders.

LEADING KEYNOTE SPEAKERS:
Two leading academic contributors to the field will headline the conference providing their views on the nature of the field and its future research directions.
