There are lots of opportunities, both in-person and online, including:
- Be part of an alumni panel: Share your experience of your time at the Business School or how to secure work post-graduation wherever you may be based
- On-course speaking: Give students the benefits of your specific knowledge in your area of expertise
- Host a career lounge: Share your career journey and give potential future talent an insight into your business and industry
- Host a student visit to your organisation: Where a group of students can experience the dynamics of a business environment first-hand
Alumni perspective
Our alumni speakers come from a wide range of organisations including social enterprises, start-ups and SMEs as well as corporations, both local and international. Equally we welcome alumni with a range of experience from recent graduates to senior board members.
Recent graduate, Ameer Ibrahim (MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation 2020), was keen to share his experiences with current students:
“I thoroughly enjoyed being part of an alumni panel, and I feel very proud to be an alumnus and value the opportunity to engage with current students and others in the Business School community.”
Askanka de Silva (MBA 2010), Founder and CEO of Liver Health UK has returned to give guest lectures on a number of occasions.
“It is a rewarding exercise as I can relate to many of the students given that I was previously in their position. Equally, we can also learn and benefit from fresh ideas that come from students who are not afraid to challenge or take a different path to solving problems to the one we have made.”
