20 March 2020
In recent months, we've been expanding the number of alumni groups worldwide, and although face-to-face events are not an option just now, we're keen that these groups can support you through digital means. Many of our Regional Leads have set up LinkedIn or Facebook groups and we're keen to create more so that wherever you are in the world, you can keep in touch with other alumni and support each other.
If your location isn't listed and you would be keen to get involved, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Forthcoming Events and Activities
Although forthcoming events including our Alumni 100 Weekend in May have unfortunately been postponed, we are planning a virtual Alumni 100 conference on Friday 15 May, of which more details will follow.
We've also just announced our Alumni 100 list which we're very excited to reveal.
Support Our Students
Many of you already support our students in a variety of ways including hosting international business visits, speaking at the School, and so on. Although such activities are on hold just now, with all teaching going online from 23 March, we're keen to continue the invaluable support that the alumni network offers our students. So, if you would be interested in sharing your experiences in digital ways such as mentoring, we would love to hear from you.
In the coming months, many of our students will be working on their dissertations and we know that alumni contacts can be invaluable for their research, so do look out for social medial posts on this.
We will continue to email our monthly newsletter on the first Wednesday of the month. This will include alumni stories, news of alumni groups, ways in which you can support our students, requests for help with research, and so on. If you don't currently receive this, please email email@example.com so we can update your email address on our database.
Sending best wishes to you all at this difficult time,
Business School Alumni Team (Jane, Julianne, Norman, and Andrew)
