The MSc Management Project is an opportunity to engage with students specialising in Management on a piece of research and analysis carried out between carried out between May and August. Alongside the academic dissertation, the main output of the project is an executive summary and/or presentation to the client.

What projects are suitable?

Given our students’ career aspirations, we especially welcome projects provided by financial institutions and consulting firms. Areas of interest include (but are not limited to):

  • Impact of the use of technologies on financial institutions
  • Engagement with customers and clients
  • Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability
  • Challenges of hybrid working in banks
  • Approaches to understand clients’ needs
  • How to create more value to clients (given a particular cost/fee)
  • Cost reduction and control

Please reach out to us if you would like to discuss topics not directly related to the examples listed above.

Qualifying criteria

  • Complete an application form setting out clear project objectives
  • Have an interesting research topic that meets academic requirements
  • Willingness to communicate business details to the student
  • Ability to engage with the student throughout the project
  • Commitment to share necessary data and arrange access for data collection (NDAs can be signed as part of the process)
