Dr Joanna Young obtained her BSc, MSc and PhD from the University of Edinburgh prior to completing a three year research fellowship there and then starting her own publishing and training business. In addition to her research experience, Joanna worked with two life science & technology spin out companies from the University of Edinburgh for several years, with responsibilities that included business development, marketing, sales and helping to raise finance. She now spends the majority of her time running her business in addition to lecturing at the University of Edinburgh Business School.
