What happens when you are a pioneer in business with no rulebook to navigate through? In 2009 Lucinda Bruce-Gardyne launched Genius Foods, the first-to-market brand in gluten-free bread. Nearly 10 years on, the brand offers a range of baked goods that normalise the diets of people living on a gluten-free diet. Genius products are available in supermarkets across the UK, Europe, Australia and America. Bruce-Gardyne will be talking about the challenges of keeping innovation at the heart of a growing business and steering through Brexit, supply chain and sustainability issues.
