The University of Edinburgh Business School is delighted to be partnering with Women in Banking and Finance for this event.

Tuesday 10 March 2020
Auditorium and Concourse
Georgina Bulkeley, Director of Strategy and Innovation, RBS

The UK and other countries are making very little progress on improving gender diversity in the boardroom; women are still under-represented on corporate boards, despite efforts to improve inclusion and gender balance. A growing body of evidence suggests that diversity at the top brings competitive advantages to corporations and investors.

The panel will discuss:

  • Business cases for diverse boards and progress to date
  • Practical actions and examples of success and overcoming barriers
  • How women and men both benefit in more diverse organisations and how we can support each other and work together
