Collaboration with business

The School works with the corporate sector with an aim to bring to you the latest insights, allowing you to tackle real business problems and giving you the opportunity to expand your network for the benefit of your career.

The School has enviable connections with businesses all over the world which, as an MBA student, you will be able to benefit greatly from. You will have the opportunity to engage with business practitioners in a variety of ways.

Corporate practitioner speakers

We host an extensive range of speakers throughout the year. Within each MBA course you will hear from a number of business practitioners who will contribute their particular insights, or case study examples.

We also host an MBA Strategy Speaker Series to enable you to engage in debate with senior directors and CEOs.

Entrepreneurship Club (E Club)

The E Club is a consortium of students, alumni, researchers, faculty, business owners and investors who share a common goal of fostering the entrepreneurial spirit.

The E Club hosts an extensive range of speakers and workshops to which MBAs are invited to participate and contribute.

Consultancy projects

MBA students can engage with business, extend their experience and develop new insights through working on consultancy assignments as part of the programme.

In Strategic Marketing, students will be given assignments in which they will engage with start-up and spin-out ventures. The elective Consultancy Project module provides an opportunity to work with a larger corporate.

Students also have the opportunity to choose a further consultancy assignment as the basis of their final Capstone Project. Past clients have included:
