Some of our students have actually launched their businesses after having discussions around their sort of ideas. And that's one of the unique aspects of the E&I programme.

Being in industry as well I work quite a lot with the Startup Weekend, and seeing some of the startup ventures that come through that programme is actually exemplary and some of the pitches that I've heard from
that as well have been fantastic. Edinburgh University Alumni Network is extremely useful for me in my career. You still have access to that community, you still have people to turn to for knowledge and for advice on particular things that you might be facing in industry.
