Research Topic
The role of entrepreneurial practices in the making of desirable future innovations
Research Summary
As part of my PhD project I am studying entrepreneurial practices (namely pitching, evaluating, repurposing) involved in the making of desirable future innovations. An ethnographic study of a digital health innovation competition hereby serves as the empirical context of my thesis. To gain a deeper understanding of ethnographical insights, I am theoretically informed by the literatures on practice theory, routine dynamics, valuation studies, future-making and infrastructure studies.
