Managing Geothermal Exploration Risk in Developing Countries is aiming to accelerate renewable energy development particularly in developing countries such as Indonesia, the Philippines, Kenya, and Chile. This research addresses the best financing and institutional options to mitigate the high capital risk on exploration by engaging the government role financing these exploration activities.
Bagus Mudiantoro is a doctoral researcher in the Accounting and Finance Group of the University of Edinburgh Business School. Prior to joining the University of Edinburgh, he worked as Senior Project Officer (Infrastructure) in the Asian Development Bank in Indonesia which manages medium and large infrastructure projects, particularly for renewable and clean energy in Indonesia. He holds a Master's degree in Strategic Management and graduated as a Civil Engineer from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
