Net Impact

The purpose of Edinburgh University’s Net Impact group is to assist in generating and implementing ideas for shaping a better future through open and creative support.

They aim to connect passionate and like-minded people and provide a platform for collaboration on bright ideas to produce a positive social force which will illuminate our university and beyond. The philosophy of their Charter is grounded on principles of sustainability, and is subsequently open to a wide range of topics which follow; from environment and natural resource management to social justice, poverty and inequality, from climate change to social and economic change, from education to international development, and from concepts of circular economy to food, sustainable agriculture, and much more.

They are open to all backgrounds, whether from fields of business and entrepreneurship, humanities and social sciences, design and art, science and engineering, or anything else.
