How should leaders lead in today’s ever changing society? Should there be more emphasis on follower-ship than leadership? What is the likelihood of there being a robot leader in the future? These were just some of the themes discussed at the TEDx conference I attended.
What does success look like to a group of MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation students? This is a question they were asked by a London-based start-up on a recent trek to the city. There were many answers – but these 3 themes emerged.
Having just returned from the trek to London, I can tell you the experience was extremely valuable and enjoyable. The MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation trek consisted of four visits to separate companies to discuss topics related to our programme at the University of Edinburgh Business School, including innovation practices within these companies, entrepreneurial challenges, company culture, and venture creation.
This year we welcomed our first class of MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation (E&I) students to the Business School. Under the guidance of Programme Director, Dr Raluca Bunduchi, these students will be the pioneers of this new programme, paving the way for future cohorts. Let’s find out what they have been up to in their first semester.
