Roles and Responsibilities
Charis is part of the School Research and PhD Support Team, supporting the Business School’s Research, Impact and Knowledge Exchange Strategy, including developing procedures to support the collation, curation, dissemination and use of research data, activities, and publications; advising staff on how to record and evidence research impact; and working collaboratively with the Research Committee, Director of Research, Director of PGR Programme and Head of Research & PhD Support.
Specifically she deals with research data management, ethics, open access, financial reporting on research grants and is the team's GDPR Champion.
She is part-time, working on Mondays (10-2) Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays (9-12).
Graduated in 1995 from the University of Edinburgh and then went to work for the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities. Joined the Department of Business Studies in 2000 before the merger that created the School in 2001.
