Background

Dr Hang Zhou is a Lecturer in Finance at the University of Edinburgh.

Hang's research is mainly in the areas of Capital Market Anomalies, Financial Market Information Efficiency and Crowdsourced Financial Platforms. His papers have been published in journals such as Journal of Financial Markets and The European Journal of Finance. His work has also been accepted for presentation by international conferences such as FMA-Asia/Pacific conference and MIT Asia conference in Accounting. Hang serves as a referee for academic journals such as International Review of Financial Analysis, Economic Modelling and Finance Research Letters.

Hang has involved in the teaching of Introduction to Corporate Finance (UG), Introduction to Financial Markets(UG) and Foundations of Finance Theory (PG).
