Roles and Responsibilities
School-wide responsibility for Quality and Accreditations.
Dr Inger Seiferheld has led the University of Edinburgh Business School through two EQUIS reaccreditations and three AMBA reaccreditations. She also led the School's Initial Accreditation by the AACSB and, most recently, the AACSB Continuous Improvement Review. She represents the School on the College Quality Assurance Committee and she served as school representative on the University of Edinburgh Senate Quality Assurance Committee for three years.
Prior to taking on the role as Director of Quality and Accreditations, Inger held various MBA directorship roles at the School over a period of eight years, and she has been a lecturer in Operations Management, Technology Management, and Design Creativity and Problem-Solving. She was formerly an Assistant Professor at Department of Production (now Department of Materials and Production), Aalborg University, Denmark, where she also consulted to a wide cross-section of companies.
Inger holds an MSc in Industrial Management and a PhD (European Doctorate) in Production Economics. She is a member of the Danish Society of Engineers (IDA), a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and she is accredited by Pædagogisk Udviklingscenter, Aalborg University, Denmark.
