Background
Jenny is an experienced manager with a background in project initiation, membership development and communications. After a year in Japan as an English Learning Teacher, her first 'proper' job was in Alumni Relations at the University of St Andrews. From there, she moved to the Royal College of General Practitioners - initially working for the Scotland office at a time when the Scottish Parliament was coming into being and taking an increased role in the development of health policy in Scotland. From managing the Executive and PR team, Jenny moved into membership and a UK-wide role, first as Membership Initiatives Manager and latterly as Head of Membership. There, she was responsible for a membership of 45,000 general practitioners and annual membership subscriptions in excess of £12m.
She has experience of the SME sector, having run her own business offering executive and business development, and is a qualified professional coach and action learning set facilitator. She provides coaching support to the MBA and Executive MBA cohorts.
