- Project Management: leading and supporting projects both within the centre and with partners of the centre to ensure high-quality, academically rigorous outputs
- Marketing & Communications: managing branding through the newsletter, website, and event promotions in addition to risk assessments
- Partnerships: supporting key relationships both inter- and intra-university to contribute to the success of the centre
Background
Lauren is a part-time graduate student at the University of Edinburgh focusing on sustainability studies and has recently pivoted from her finance-health trajectory. Lauren received a B.A. in Health and Societies, concentration in Healthcare Markets and Finance from the University of Pennsylvania. Despite having grown up in California, Lauren decided that four years of U.S. northeast winters weren't 'that bad' and began working in NYC as a strategy consultant at EY in the finance and health sector. As the COVID-19 pandemic set in, Lauren decided to pivot from her previous industry into sustainability, with the intention of pursuing a PhD in the near future. Lauren enjoys baking (both with and without her pandemic sourdough starter), gardening, and yoga in her spare time.
