MBA Employer Relations Manager
Roles and Responsibilities
There are 2 main aspects to my role in supporting our MBA students; Firstly, I am responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of employers, many of whom are alumni and all of who offer invaluable external support and knowledge. Secondly, in partnership with my career consultant colleague Lisa Rose, I execute and manage our student's employability journey throughout their course by providing group support and direct 1:1 career consultancy to our MBA cohorts.
Background
I joined the MBA team at the business school in May 2023, bringing with me over 23 years of experience working for a global recruitment company, Hays Specialist Recruitment. As the Client Director for Hays Scotland, my role focussed on effective client engagement and relationship management across a wide range of sectors – Technology, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, HR, and Construction – and across both public and Private organisations. I am passionate about supporting people to reach their potential by offering advice on career management on how to navigate the “World of Work”.
