Lecturer in Finance
Yue (Lucy) is a lecturer in Finance at the University of Edinburgh Business School. She received her PhD (Finance) from the University of Edinburgh. She also holds an MSc (in International Securities, Investment and Banking), an MBA and a bachelor degree (in Engineering). Lucy had several years of work experience in investment banking.
She is involved in teaching the following courses:
- Corporate Finance
- Principles of Finance
- Behavioural Finance
She was nominated for a EUSA Teaching Award 2011-2012.
Lucy’s main research interests include:
- mergers and acquisitions
- behavioural corporate finance
- corporate governance
- content analysis of financial narratives.
She is particularly interested in the impact of cognitive biases and errors of judgment on corporate investment and finance decisions.
