With over a decade of experience in research and practice in this field, our lab has cultivated expertise in three core areas: Digital Transformation in Practice, Embracing AI for Practice, and Evaluation of Digital Innovations for Practice.

Digital Transformation in Practice

At the DAIT-Lab, we're a multidisciplinary team of academics, researchers, and students passionate about designing and conducting research that explores the transformative potential of digital technologies and facilitate their practical implementation. Our mission is to foster collaboration between academia, industry, and vendors and future adopters of technologies, ensuring that the latest digital technologies are not only researched and developed, but are more notably, adopted and integrated into practical organizational environments. Our projects explore and provide insights into different aspects of digital transformation such as sustained user involvement, creation of a knowledge sharing ecosystem across organisations, providing frameworks and approaches to identify and evaluate complex technologies for transformation of different sectors.

Evaluation of Digital Innovations for Practice

While technologies play a vital role in digital transformation of organisations, their design and development need to be informed by the social, organizational, political and market landscape necessary to ensure that technologies provide the intended value in practice for diverse stakeholders. We provide means for innovators and developers, to supports developmental evaluations of digitally enabled transformation efforts from early stages of design to adoption and use informed by these factors.
