Today we welcomed our new Postgraduate Research Students who begin their journey with us at the University of Edinburgh Business School.
Professor Bill Rees kicked off the Welcome Induction Event with an insight into what to expect, and what's expected of them during the doctoral programme. This was followed by an opportunity to find out more about the variety of learning resources available to students as well as training initiatives offered by the Institute of Academic Development before heading off to hear the Principal deliver his annual welcome at the McEwan Hall. This week will provide all sorts of activities to enable the new cohort to get to know their surroundings, meet with supervisors and generally settle into life at the Business School. We wish our new students all the best and look forward to supporting them throughout their studies.
