Sandy is Head of Client Development within the Executive Education team, and he is the main business development lead for all new Executive Education within the Business School. Background

I am an internationally experienced L&D consultant with extensive learning & organisational development experience, gained initially in education and language training in the French HE and corporate sectors. After several years in Lyon, I returned to the UK and moved into business development and client engagement roles for global specialist providers of sales training, experiential learning, team development and leadership development, plus workplace accreditations, certified training and skills diagnostics. My work has involved securing and managing the delivery of client projects in the financial services, energy, automotive, higher education, hospitality & tourism, pharma & healthcare sectors across the UK, Europe, MENA, LATAM and APAC.

I was responsible for growing the L&D business area at one of the UK’s leading providers of corporate events, team building and experiential learning for leadership and organisational development. In my 15 years there my role developed from L&D Consultant through to Account Director, then Director of Sales. Prior to joining the Business School I was Client Engagement Manager and Wellbeing & Sustainability Practice Lead at Remarkable Ltd (formerly Investors in People Scotland), where I led the creation and development of the Practice offering, including responsibility for the nationally recognised Investors in Young People accreditation standard.
