Ben is involved in teaching of the following courses:
- Foundations of Econometrics (PhD)
- Quantitative Research Methods in Finance (MSc)
Ben is a Lecturer in Finance. He joined the School in 2015 after completing his PhD in Finance from the University of Edinburgh. He holds an MSc in Finance and Investment (Distinction) from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Engineering) from Chulalongkorn University.
Ben's research interests include corporate finance, corporate governance, law and finance, and financial intermediation. His research papers have been published in several leading finance and management journals, and have been selected for presentation at various international conferences, including EUROFIDAI Paris Finance Conference, Financial Management Association (FMA) Conferences, and European Financial Management Associations (EFMA) Annual Meeting.
Ben has served as an ad-hoc reviewer for several ABS-rated journals including Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, European Management Journal, Corporate Governance: International Review, European Journal of Finance, and Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money.
Ben is an Associate Editor of Finance Research Letters (Impact Factor 3.8) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Ben's research projects have won research fundings from the British Academy, the Leverhulme Trust, and the Carnegie Trust.
