Background
Fervent advocate and researcher on enhancing access to climate finance. I'm keen to explore and bridge the gap between academia and policy space to bring impact to climate finance access. Served as an academic through teaching and supervising research on sustainable finance for University of Oxford, UK (short courses), Rotterdam School of Management, Netherlands and IESEG School of Management, France. Served in several fellowship roles; Finance Youth Fellow with the UN High Level Champions (2023), Fellow for NDC Financing in Africa Frankfurt School of Management (2020-2023). Holds a PhD on Climate Finance and Carbon Pricing from Universite de Lille (France) and a MSc in Carbon Finance from University of Edinburgh (UK). She actively participates and follow climate finance negotiations at UNFCCC on the Paris Agreement through COP26-COP29, coordinating the Scotland Beyond Net Zero Finance Theme as a co-theme Lead, sits on UNFCCC Research Constituency Steering Committee.
