In this latest event in partnership with the Chartered Banker Institute, Ross McEwan discusses the dramatic changes underfoot to rebuild the reputation of the embattled financial institution.

Having worked with successful CEOs during his time with major banks in his native New Zealand and in Australia, he says the best leaders are driven by values and put the customer first.

Self-interest, McEwan says, is a necessary driver for growth in market economies. But he argues the days of chasing quarter to quarter success at the expense of long-term value must be relegated to the history books to make lasting change.
