Overview

Join us to hear from Sam Pringle (BSc Marine Biology, MBA, MSc Coaching, EIA, ESIA) as she launches “Neuroinclusion – A Guide for Managers and Leaders”.

Sam became a professional coach in 2007 after a 10-year management career in the pharmaceutical industry. She then held roles as a CEO of a charity, Board Chair, and Head of Research informing government policy on family friendly working and parental leave. Today she is Associate Director for a social enterprise she co-founded in 2019, Presence in Action Collective, based in Edinburgh.

Sam has provided coaching for staff at the University of Edinburgh throughout her coaching career.

Her passion around diversity and inclusion, supporting parents, carers and more recently neurodivergent employees, came through personal experience. One which motivated her to start her own supervision and which she has now provides to employees some 15 years later.

“Neuroinclusion – A Guide for Managers and Leaders”, a book she has co-authored, provides a foundation for those working in organisations, so that they can feel more confident and be more competent in their people management skills.

This book launch event aims to:

  • Share Sam’s experience of supporting managers and neurodivergent team members
  • Practical tips from her book on how to create neuroinclusive working environments
  • An opportunity for attendees to ask questions about neurodiversity and to meet others who share this interest.
