Overview
To say that we live in challenging times is an understatement. Yet, despite facing enormous difficulties, some individuals, teams, and organizations can manage to persevere, and keep on going.
In this lecture, Kristina Potocnik will discuss resilience as a multi-level concept, commonly defined as both the ability to predict and prepare for difficult conditions as well as the ability to absorb, respond to and bounce back from such conditions when they occur.
Drawing on distinct streams of research, including the analysis of a plane crash and a stressful production simulation, she will explore how more resilient individuals, teams, and organizations manage to effectively respond to challenging circumstances.
