When it comes to cybersecurity, we often hear that adequate technology can ensure the safety of our systems. If a breach occurs, it is usually framed as an isolated incident caused by human error. Agentic AI brings forth a host of new risks. Can we de-risk the system with good enough technology?

Overview

In this webinar, we will discuss with Ben Hanson, CTO @ Zenity, mental models and unwritten assumptions embedded in the design of cybersecurity systems, and risks that emerge when these assumptions are taken for granted. We will discuss what it means for systems which introduce agentic AI that start making decisions and why our ability to control and predict behaviour of such agents is a myth.

Ben is a globally recognised security strategist with over 25 years of working experience working in Microsoft, Bank of England and NatWest Group, to name a few. Operating at the cutting edge of agentic AI, he works with CSOs and security teams at the world's most sophisticated organisations, helping them transition from static security controls and guardrails to the fundamentally different challenge of governing agency. The webinar will be hosted by Agnessa Spanellis, director of Gamification and Systems Thinking Lab.

This is the first in a series of webinars focusing on different aspects of Systems Thinking and Gamification. If you would like to receive updates about these upcoming events, please consider subscribing to our mailing list.
