Background
David Plekenpol serves as the Chairman of the European and American Regions for AAC Technologies, a Hong Kong listed technology supplier to the smartphone and automotive industries. He has spent over twenty-five years in the telecoms industry, with executive positions in both Lucent Technologies and Alcatel.
He has founded two Silicon Valley venture capital-backed startup companies, led sales and marketing for an optical component startup in Scotland and spent two years with a venture capital-backed Chinese mobile design startup in Shanghai before joining AAC Technologies.
He has an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. David resides near Denver, Colorado. He is married with three children.
