Background
Deanna brings 20 years of experience across the impact investing, private equity, and strategy consulting fields across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
She is an Investment Director at Circularity Capital, a leading specialist private equity firm dedicated to support innovative growth-stage European businesses in the circular economy. At Circularity, she leads the firm’s Circular Products and Materials theme – managing both new investments and existing portfolio companies who offer innovative and sustainable solutions by transforming waste materials, generating new bio-based solutions, and developing new products and services for improved resource efficiency.
Prior Circularity, Deanna executed buyout and growth transactions across consumer, healthcare, industrial, and services in Europe at L-GAM, a Bain Capital spin-out private equity fund founded in partnership with the Princely Family of Liechtenstein. She was previously an Investment Manager with the global impact investor LGT Impact Ventures (now Lightrock), where she managed LGT’s impact investing portfolio in Latin America, and a management consultant at BCG. Deanna also worked with the United Nations International Labour Organisation and the World Bank International Finance Corporation. Deanna holds an MBA from Wharton, an MPA in International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University.
In addition to her role on the IAB, she serves on the Boards of the Stanford UK Angel and Entrepreneurs Club as well as the companies Matsmart in Scandinavia, PackBenefit, and Cerafiltec.
