Lecturer in Service Management
Background
I joined the University of Edinburgh Business School as a Lecturer in Service Management in May 2024. I earned a PhD in Management from the University of Edinburgh in 2020. My research is situated in the changing landscape of public service delivery where hybrid organisations, such as social enterprises, have emerged. My research explores whether and how social enterprises could enact organisational resilience to achieve social and economic goals and become sustainable public service organisations, despite the challenges caused by internal hybrid organising and external environments. Following my postdoctoral research on value (co-)creation in public service production, I also look at contingent approaches to resilient public service during critical times.
Research Interests
Public service, social enterprise, organisational resilience, hybrid organising
