Acting Head of Research Support
Roles and Responsibilities
Gary's role is to:
Manage and lead a diverse team, including: the Research Team, and PGR Support Team, to provide high quality and bespoke support to faculty and doctoral students in the Business School; the Finance Team to provide high quality finance advice and operational support to all staff within the Business School.
Develop and enhance the School’s research culture, profile and funding by providing professional services and expert bespoke advisory support to the School’s Director and Deputy Directors of Research and academic staff in the Business School.
Assist in creating an environment for the dynamic evolution of research, KE and impact support strategies that meet constantly shifting internal and external priorities in these areas.
Ensure effective local finance policies and procedures are developed, disseminated and adhered to, working closely with the Finance Business Partner.
