We are delighted to announce that the University of Edinburgh Business School has been awarded EFMD Global Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) reaccreditation for a further five years, recognising the School’s continued excellence in business education and research.

The EQUIS reaccreditation reflects the School’s strengths across teaching, research, student experience, internationalisation, ethics, sustainability and industry engagement, while highlighting its ability to adapt and innovate in a changing global business landscape.

The achievement means the School retains its highly-prized triple accreditation status, with accreditations from Association of MBAs (AMBA), The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and EQUIS – a distinction held by only a small proportion of business schools worldwide.

Dean of the Business School, Professor Gavin Jack, said:

We are extremely proud to have achieved EQUIS reaccreditation for a further five years. This recognition reflects the strength of our international community, the quality and relevance of our research and teaching, and our commitment to creating meaningful change for people, organisations and the environment.
The reaccreditation is testament to the dedication of our staff, students, alumni and partners, and we look forward to building on the panel’s recommendations as we continue to shape better futures through research and education that are diverse, digital and sustainable.

EQUIS is the leading international system of quality assessment, improvement and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration. EQUIS is managed and run by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) Global and its fundamental objective, linked to the mission of the EFMD Global, is to raise the standard of management education worldwide.
