This highly regarded qualification is widely recognised within the financial services sector and reflects a strong understanding of financial markets while supporting students’ professional and academic development.
This year, twelve students were selected to participate in the programme: Rayek Abdo, Xavier Martorell, Erin Browne, Finlay Garnes, Ayush Pruthvi Gowda, Risa Imamura, Benyapa Kulsri, Elya Rohaizan, Fatima Shah, Satvik Singla, Radim Sirucek and Sean Tunney.
Three students achieved Merit, scoring between 46 and 50: Xavier Martorell, Erin Browne and Radim Sirucek.
The sponsorship scheme has now been running successfully for eight years and continues to maintain an exceptional 100% success rate. According to CISI representatives, the University of Edinburgh remains the only institution in the United Kingdom to sustain such consistently outstanding results.
The qualification has supported many of our students in securing internships and employment opportunities at leading financial institutions, including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Lloyds, JPMorgan, Barclays, BlackRock, Lazard and others.
We are immensely proud of our students and value our strong partnership with the CISI.
This achievement reflects a collective effort, and we extend our sincere thanks to Colin Anderson, Senior Manager, Relationships at CISI; Snezana King (CISI); and Emma Wright and Lucy Brady from the UEBS Teaching Operations Office. Their dedication and support have been instrumental in the continued success of this programme.Dr Maria Michou, Cohort Lead of the UG Accounting and Finance course
