The University of Edinburgh maintains strong relationships with a number of professional bodies. There will be several guest lecturers from within the finance and investment industries, and there will be the opportunity for students to meet with practitioners to discuss issues related to research or career opportunities.

CFA Institute

We are applying to participate in the CFA Institute® CFA Program Partner Initiative ("CFA PP") for this programme. If successful, this would mean that the MSc in Finance and Investment is judged by the Institute as covering in some way at least 70 per cent of the CFA curriculum. If our application is successful then this degree will assist those who choose to study for the CFA qualification.
