Head of Coaching
Roles and Responsibilities
Rona is Head of Coaching at the Business School and MBA Executive coach. She initially joined the School in July 2014 to be part of the newly formed Student Development Team.
Rona works collaboratively to strategically lead on the growth and development of the School’s thriving coaching culture while providing 1-1 coaching across the MBA programme portfolio. She is an accredited coach and also a coach trainer and supervisor. Her focus is on personal and professional development to ultimately enhance the overall student experience, well-being, and global employability.
Background
Rona has a background in financial services with over 20 years of experience in the sector, working in a variety of leadership and development roles including Learning and Development and Corporate Social Responsibility/Sustainability. She has also run her own business working with a number of stakeholders across the private, public and charitable sectors providing consultancy and project management support. Passionate about fostering coaching cultures, she is dedicated to helping individuals and organisations achieve their goals.
Rona has been a coaching practitioner since 2005, (Strathclyde University certification and Association for Coaching accredited). She is a principle-led coach supervisor (Institute of Leadership and Management) and coach mentor.
Rona is also a CAPP Strengths Coach, EQi certified and Belbin facilitator. She is a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner and NLP Practitioner and also a graduate of the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Sociology.
