Programme Overview and Timeline

The University of Edinburgh Business School is proud to offer this unique and exciting opportunity to recent graduates to be part of the first UK Business School graduate programme, designed to help you develop the skills and experience needed to pursue a professional services or leadership position within the higher education sector.

Over the course of two years, graduates will embark on a number of placements, rotating to a new department every few months. During these placements, graduates will lead on a primary project that is relevant to the current context and issues of higher education. This exposure will provide graduates with invaluable experience, knowledge and skills that will facilitate their professional growth in this role and beyond.

What will you experience?

This programme will provide you with the opportunity to gain experience in a number of different teams and departments in the Business School and across the wider University of Edinburgh. During your time on this programme, you will have the opportunity to experience higher education from an organisational viewpoint. From Student Support to Human Resource Management, this programme exposes participants to many different operational activities that will prepare them for a career in higher education.

To aid their professional development, graduates will experience support at every stage of this programme, through interactions with their buddy, coach, mentor and a network of fellow higher education graduates on similar programmes in universities across the UK.
