Why did you choose to study at the University of Edinburgh Business School (UEBS)?
The University of Edinburgh has a great reputation. During an exchange semester in my undergraduate degree, I fell in love with the city and I decided it was the perfect place for me to take a further step in my studies.
What was it about the degree programme that particularly attracted you?
I loved the way it was structured. In the first semester, the programme included a good foundation in finance, before giving me the option to specialise in semester two.
Your career
Can you tell us about your career before and after graduating?
I did my BCom(Hons) Banking and Finance and Insurance at the University of Malta, during which I did an internship at Lloyds Banking Group in Edinburgh.
After graduating from the MSc, I applied for a graduate programme at Fitch Ratings and then became a senior analyst in the utilities team. I was then promoted to Associate Director in March 2024.
