Launched in 2020 as part of our 100th Anniversary celebrations, the 100 Second Pitch returns in 2021 bigger and better.
100 Second Pitch Returns for 2021

Supported by a network of alumni judges, the competition is designed to help our students develop their presentation and public speaking skills while also building confidence in virtual networking.

This year's brief, supplied by Artisan Roast founder Gustavo Pardo, will be focused on the circular economy. Two skills sessions delivered by alumni include pitching under pressure and how to approach a time limited pitch.

There is a £5,000 prize fund which will be split among the winners, allowing them to take their idea to the next level. Winning students will also join our 6-month, alumni-led accelerator programme, which includes:

  • One-to-one mentoring
  • Monthly progress check-in sessions
  • Business plan development
  • Mock investor presentations

This year's judges include Asanka Da Silva, Founder and CEO of Liver Health UK and George Mackintosh, Serial Entrepreneur and Founder of Papple Steading.
